Chungcheongnam-do

Chungcheongnam-do, also referred to as Chungnam, is the south Chungcheong Province, and is located in the south west of Korea. The province is perhaps most famous for being the heart of the ancient Kingdom of Baekje, so there are plenty of historical sites to explore in this region. These days the province is home to Korea's modern administrative city, Sejong, and it takes advantage of its coastal mud flats by hosting the annual Boryeong Mud Festival.
